European Textile Routes - Contents: This brochure contains brief descriptions of eleven routes set up in Catalonia/Spain, Tuscany/Italy, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Serbia and Georgia. All addresses of the more than 150 route stations are listed. There are also descriptions of the cultural-political context in which the European Textile Route programme is placed, and the structure and contents of the routes. Aside from the geographic routes, a further five thematically organised routes are described - textile routes featuring architectural monuments; recurrent events; cultural heritage in museums; production locations; and educational/research facilities. Finally the brochure includes a CD-ROM of the above-mentioned routes, of the ten pilot routes in nine countries (Finland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Portugal, Italy/Piedmont, Slovenia and Russia) and seven regional routes in the German lands Northrhine-Westphalia and Saxony.
