| Who can participate? |
| 1 |
Individual route stations (institutions, associations, companies etc.) that have a textile cultural mandate and are (partially) open to the public |
| 2 |

|
| What is required? |

For each route station, the following documentation must be available in English, French or German language (see illus. below): the complete address and a brief description of the station (500 characters max.);
a text introducing its primary aspect (750 characters max.) and up to
4 texts (250 characters max. each) for any secondary aspects. A suitable colour illustration must be submitted for each aspect.
|
| 2 |
In addition to documentation of its own route stations (see below), the Textile Contact Point (TCP) must provide a map on which the route is marked, a brief description of the respective region or town and recommended links. It must also give an access note (see illus. bottom) as well as details about services offered and its wider range of activities (3-6 themes, 1500 characters max.). |
| 3 |
Those TCPs opting for a 4th language for their Route can do so if they use Latin characters. This service will carry a charge. Completely edited and corrected texts must be delivered, following the order of the previous edited English texts.
|
| Who is responsible for the route network? |
Individual TCPs or route stations will be responsible for the text and picture content ©. Final editing will be undertaken by the ETN-NET Secretariat; it may abridge or delete texts, and change illustrations independently.
|
| How are new route stations or routes incorporated? |
| 1 |
Each new station
will be added to the existing system of geographic and theme routes,
in as far as Routes are existing in the country region. |
| 2 |
Each new route (at
least 5 stations!) must have a TCP that will be placed on the map
of the respective country (or region). - Upon request, a route leaflet
will be produced for promotional purposes.
